About the Role Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems, including fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. Location & Travel Based in Dyersburg, TN with opportunities for nationwide travel. Responsibilities Install and terminate optical fiber cable, Cat 6A, Cat 6, Cat 5E and coax cable in commercial and/or industrial environments. Install, terminate, program, and troubleshoot access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and CCTV systems in commercial and industrial environments. Program and commission new systems and perform customer training. Read blueprints, specifications, and contract documents. Qualifications 5+ years of experience installing and terminating optical fiber, Cat 6A, Cat 6, Cat 5E, and coax cable. Knowledge of NEC and ANSI/TIA standards. Strong understanding of access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Ability to read blueprints and contract documents. Preferred Certifications Manufacturers: Avigilon, S2-Lenel, Gallagher, Identicard, Paxton, RS2. Avigilon or S2-Lenel certification strongly preferred. BICSI certification desired.
