While we bring together passionate, purpose-driven dental entrepreneurs who share core values, we celebrate the unique differences among our partners that strengthen us and allow us to make a lasting impact.Job Summary:Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager and Vice President of Insurance Operations and Revenue Cycle Management, the Revenue Cycle Specialist - Claim's Follow Up is responsible for reviewing and resolving outstanding insurance claims in multiple dental offices and identifying areas of opportunity to decrease aging and boost collections for training or other recommendations in the office’s current revenue cycle processes. The RCS will be required to follow up on assigned outstanding claims utilizing high-level problem-solving, consistently meet daily goals and project deadlines, and establish and maintain strong relationships with partner offices and various leaders in the organization. The RCS will work closely with the Revenue Cycle Manager to provide revenue cycle support aligned with the Company’s core values and ensure adherence to the Company’s internal control process and policies.Responsibilities:Work assigned outstanding insurance claims for follow-up resolution and cleaning up of aging balances for one or more dental offices at a timePerform proper insurance claims submission with payers to ensure timely processing of claims and maximized insurance paymentsIdentify areas of opportunity and prepare solutions to improve RCM KPI’s, including collections %, AR days, % of aging past-dueExecute projects on time according to project deadlines, effectively communicating progress and trendsInteract with individuals at all levels of the company as well as external vendorsContribute to overall company programs and projects, communication cascade and process improvementHandle confidential business mattersRecommend work process improvementsAnticipate needs of senior leadership and respond proactively to those needsWork independently or on a team for special assignmentsQualifications:General understanding of dental revenue cycle management functions, with a strong focus on insurance claims follow-up and denialsMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a revenue cycle specialist and/or similar experienceMinimum of 5 years in dental insurance & billing and/or similar experienceFamiliarity with various practice management software, like Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OpenDental, Practiceworks, PlanetDDS, Curve, etc.Demonstrate team and inter-departmental collaborationDemonstrate strong time management abilitiesDetail-oriented, with strong research and analysis skillsHigh level of proficiency in written and oral communicationsThrive in a fast-paced environment, including flexibility in priorities and schedulingAdaptability – responding quickly to changes and adjusting initiatives and priorities accordinglySolid organization skills, with the ability to track and weigh multiple priorities at once to ensure more efficient and effective time managementAdvanced computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointWhat’s Waiting For You:Salary range of 35K - 50K D.O.ECompetitive health, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability, and life insurance plansParticipation in a 401 (k) plan with company matchRemote workforce model & flexible scheduleThe opportunity to engage in a values-based organization where all 2000+ (and growing) team members strive to exemplify our core values every dayFLSA Status:ExemptWe are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
