Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience with middle school-age students in a special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to diverse learning needs
• Organizational skills for managing multiple student goals and documentation
• Willingness to collaborate with support staff and related service providers

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering differentiated instruction tailored to individual learning plans
• Developing, monitoring, and updating IEPs and progress reports
• Engaging students using evidence-based interventions and accommodations
• Collaborating with general education teachers and paraprofessionals
• Fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture
• Maintaining parent communication and facilitating IEP meetings
• Supporting student transitions and social-emotional skill development
