Position: Director of Finance Location: Mercer County, NJ Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: $150-$165k Position Overview The Director of Finance will lead financial operations and strategy for multiple entities within the organization. This role is responsible for driving process improvements, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position collaborates closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Responsibilities Drive finance operation process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Manage entire P&L for multiple entities, ensuring profitability and compliance Prepare and analyze budget vs. actual reports to support strategic decisions Generate and monitor KPIs to track organizational performance Deliver timely and accurate board reporting for executive decision-making Partner with Accounting to optimize SOPs and streamline workflows Oversee high-level technical accounting responsibilities, including complex reconciliations and compliance with GAAP standards Required Experience/Skills Proven experience in the hospitality industry Strong leadership experience with ability to manage teams and influence stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting Advanced knowledge of technical accounting principles and GAAP compliance Ability to manage multiple entities and complex financial structures Preferred Experience/Skills Experience implementing or migrating to a new ERP system Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with financial systems and automation tools Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required CPA or MBA preferred Continuing education in financial management or technical accounting a plus If eligible under the ACA, medical, dental and vision benefits and time off in accordance with local paid sick time laws will be offered.
