Summary of Position Responsible for coordination, development, marketing, organization, and management of assigned program areas and clinical supervision and/or direct supervision of staff and interns/practicum students. Assists in assuring compliance with standards, regulations, and laws. Provides and promotes outstanding internal and external customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provides clinical supervision and consultation to clinicians and interns/practicum students, as assigned, to assure quality of services. Assists with training new staff, interns, and practicum students. Make necessary decisions in the absence of Clinical Manager to assure program continuity. Act in consultation with other Managers and Director as needed. Provides outpatient counseling services utilizing evidence-based methodologies for excellent clinical services. Prepares for and conducts individual, group, and family therapy for assigned caseload. Assists clients in developing an individualized treatment plan that is person-centered, family-centered, and service-centered. Monitors client progress in treatment and participates in treatment plan reviews as assigned. Updates treatment plans as appropriate. Submits treatment plans at all stages for medical review, if applicable. Conducts intake for clients entering services, including explaining services, gathering information needed on intake materials, ensuring service recipient understands all forms, assuring signatures on appropriate contracts and consents, and submitting materials for processing. Conducts assessments and writes assessment summaries. Assists clients with making linkages with internal and external resources as outlined in the treatment plan and in coordination with Integrated Healthcare Services. Maintains contact with referral sources, provides information on client progress, behavior, and needs, and maintains ongoing consultation when appropriate. Assists clients in making discharge plans and provides follow-up services as assigned. Attends staff meetings, clinical staffings, and other internal meetings as assigned. Participates on committees, including quality assurance functions, and maintains communication with other employees to work effectively as a treatment team member. Monitors urinalysis, breathalyzer, and other testing as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person, and virtual methods. Team building skills. Problem-solving skills. Knowledge of community geographical awareness and of community and agency resources. Knowledge of inpatient treatment resources, including appropriate admission procedures. Qualifications Education Level: Master’s Degree in Human Services. Years of Experience: Demonstrated skill in performing clinical services. Certification/Licensure: Clinical license required. Staff must have certification or licensure within the required time frame mandated by DASA Staff Qualifications (or within 2 years of hire, whichever comes first).
