OGS is seeking a Tool & Die Maker who is responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying production stamping dies and tooling. Our tool room primarily supports existing production tooling purchased from outside Tool & Die makers. We build fixtures, and some tooling in-house, but the primary focus is keeping production tooling running safely and reliably. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and test stamping dies, including progressive, blanking, forming, restrike, and other tooling. Diagnose dimensional issues, burrs, broken or worn components, forming problems, misfeeds, alignment issues, and other tooling-related problems. Machine replacement punches, inserts, die sections, blocks, pins, bushings, and other tooling components. Read and interpret part prints, tooling drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T. Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges.
