Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a couplet care setting
• Monitor and assess antepartum patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and unit protocols
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NRP certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 1 year and 8 months of RN experience
• Couplet care and antepartum experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume Mother/Baby or Labor and Delivery unit
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems in an acute care environment
