Clinical Instructor
The Department of Clinical Laboratory Science within the College of Allied Health Sciences at East Carolina University invites applications for a 12-month, fixed-term permanent position at the title of Clinical Instructor. Primary duties will include: (1) teaching and/or developing lecture and laboratory courses as assigned within the curriculum, (2) overseeing clinical education experiences within the curriculum as needed, (3) evaluating student achievement, (4) participating in curriculum and policy development and (5) assessing program outcomes. Contingent upon availability of funds.
Minimum Education/Experience: Master's degree in medical laboratory science, education, or a closely related field
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation: None
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: PhD or other doctoral degree in Medical Laboratory Science or closely related field; MLS/MT generalist certification; teaching experience (classroom and/or laboratory); expertise in Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, and/or Molecular Diagnostics
