Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a hospital-based Emergency Department in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina . This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries while working closely with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and hospital services.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and emergent medical conditions
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
