About the Role:

Rapid Run Logistics LLC is looking for a compassionate and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our growing team in Iowa. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and documentation in compliance with company standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and passengers
• Follow all traffic laws, HIPAA guidelines, and patient confidentiality protocols
• Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to ensure on-time service

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with wheelchair lift-equipped vehicles or passenger assistance preferred
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor when working with elderly or disabled passengers
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Basic knowledge of Cedar Rapids area roads and navigation tools
