Who we are looking for Experienced LCSW passionate about providing counseling services that support an individual’s physical, mental, cognitive, and emotional adjustment through recovery. Provide therapeutic interventions and resource recommendations addressing patients’ goals to achieve their personal, career, and independent living objectives in an integrated setting. No weekends or holidays required. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations, assessing the social, emotional, and support needs of patients and their families. Set measurable objectives formulated in conjunction with the rehabilitation team. Assist the physician and other health‑team members in understanding significant social and emotional factors related to the patient’s health problems. Instruct and counsel patients and families in coping with social and emotional responses connected with illnesses. Participate in care coordination activities and act as a resource to other health‑team members in identifying and resolving patient needs. Identify and assist patients and/or families in utilizing appropriate community resources to achieve measurable objectives. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work (LCSW). Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensure in the state of practice. Minimum of one year experience in a rehabilitation setting serving individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, or acute diagnosis. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) First Aid and CPR certification required. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures when moving, lifting, or transferring patients. Requires fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods. Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.
