ResponsibilitiesOriginates MEP Scopes of Work and participates in scope review meetingsOriginates MEP installation and commissioning activities within the Project ScheduleTrains others on MEP systemsDetermines the MEP subcontracting strategies for a projectDevelops MEP bid package schedule with input from the design team and ownerTracks progress of the MEP coordination process and ensures the deliverable meets contract requirementsCoaches and mentors less experienced team membersSupports a positive and inclusive work environmentCollaborates closely with business development to ensure seamless integration with sales strategies including performance metrics on your assigned projects, pursuits, and client deliverables. Actively participates in opportunities to strengthen client, partner, and industry relationships that position Gilbane as the “Builder of Choice”QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering5-10 years of experiencePrevious experience with data center field construction is preferredOSHA 30 hour certifiedOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESAbility to lead in a team environment and manage project subcontractorsStrong technical expertise and leadership for the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsAbility to lead the commissioning processKnowledge of the BIM Coordination and 3D modeling processAbility to adapt to changing needs by utilizing excellent problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of risk managementStrong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety planSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For Ohio this ranges from $110,000 - $140,000 plus benefits and retirement program.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
