Job Purpose

The Data Entry Clerk supports SiteLine Services’ operations and project management teams by accurately entering, updating, organizing, and maintaining project and operational information across spreadsheets, trackers, and company systems. This position helps ensure critical business information remains accurate, current, organized, and easily accessible, allowing project and operations team members to focus on their core responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities of the accounting clerk include but are not limited to:

• Enter and update project, operational, vendor, and other business-related data accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets, project trackers, logs, and internal reports.
• Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Organize and maintain electronic files, records, and supporting documentation.
• Assist the project management and operations teams with administrative tasks as needed.
• Compile information from various sources and enter it into established tracking systems.
• Monitor trackers and follow up on missing or incomplete information when necessary.
• Perform basic spreadsheet functions, including sorting, filtering, formatting, and data organization.
• Assist with preparing reports and summaries for management.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, customer, vendor, and employee information.
• Identify discrepancies or missing information and communicate concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Support additional administrative and operational projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous data entry, administrative, office, or project support experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong typing and computer skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software, processes, and tracking systems quickly.
