Job Description Job Description Automotive Technician – Job Description Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Full-Time Overview We are looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with diagnostics, repairs, and engine work, and takes pride in delivering quality work in a fast-paced shop environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of vehicles Perform engine repairs, replacements, and maintenance services Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues Complete work orders efficiently and accurately Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate clearly with team members and management Requirements 2+ years of automotive repair experience (more for advanced roles) Strong diagnostic skills (electrical and mechanical) Experience with engine swaps, diesel work, or major repairs is a plus Own tools required Valid driver’s license Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with diesel engines (Duramax, Powerstroke, Cummins) Familiarity with diagnostic software and scan tools Welding or fabrication experience is a plus Compensation Pay based on experience (hourly or flat rate options) Opportunity for bonuses based on performance What We Offer Consistent workflow (no sitting around waiting for jobs) Growth opportunities Team-oriented environment
