Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Facilitating regular therapy sessions while utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records using our secure electronic health record systems.

  • Engaging in collaborative care with external partners and agencies to streamline services and support for clients.
  • \n
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest in mental health practices.

  • Providing supervision and support to interns or less experienced counselors as needed.
  • \n
  • Contributing to the evaluation of psychometric assessments and ensuring clients’ progress is adequately documented and communicated.
  • \n
  • Attending regular team meetings and contributing to case discussions to optimize client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work closely with clients to build trust and rapport, providing them with a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • \n
  • Current professional licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) as mandated by Washington State regulations.
  • \n
  • A clean record with no medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party service.
  • \n
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is essential.
  • \n
  • Strong clinical skills paired with a keen ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with specific populations such as adolescents or individuals with co-occurring disorders will be advantageous. Familiarity with remote counseling technologies and methodologies is also preferred, as it enhances the flexibility and accessibility of your services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
