Scaffold Helper

Summary Scaffold Builder Helper will assist with the construction, dismantling, and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds and auxiliary structures related to scaffolding. Requirements 12-16 months of experience as a scaffold builder helper. Knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction. Reliable transportation and ability to work a full schedule, including any required overtime. Willingness to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations. Ability to follow all company and site rules and regulations. Physical Requirements Adherence to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting, including lifting overhead. Effective communication – able to talk and hear. Use of arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push , and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs. Work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, work off platforms and man lifts, and occasionally work on open structures while complying with fall protection requirements. Position Responsibilities Identify all tools required for tasks. Identify safety risks and implement precautions to eliminate those risks. Measure, mark, and cut required wooden or metallic materials to specification. Assist with construction, reinforcement, and dismantling of pre-constructed scaffolds. Assist with building and construction of wooden scaffolds.
