About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and providing a nurturing environment for children. If you are passionate about working with children, creating engaging learning experiences, and making a positive impact on young lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding Daycare Teacher position.

What You'll Do

Duties:**
Provide quality care to children in a daycare setting
Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate daily routines
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress

Requirements

Qualifications:**
- 1 year Previous experience in childcare or daycare settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool and school age is preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
CPR and First Aid
Childcare training
Virginia Health and safety for Childcare staff 10 hr training
At least 1 year of lead teacher experience
