About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and providing a nurturing environment for children. If you are passionate about working with children, creating engaging learning experiences, and making a positive impact on young lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding Daycare Teacher position.
What You'll Do- Duties:**
- Provide quality care to children in a daycare setting
- Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
- Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate daily routines
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress
- Qualifications:**
- - 1 year Previous experience in childcare or daycare settings
- - Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- - Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
- - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- - Certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
- - Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool and school age is preferred
- - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- CPR and First Aid
- Childcare training
- Virginia Health and safety for Childcare staff 10 hr training
- At least 1 year of lead teacher experience
- CDA
