School Psychologist – Full-Time (2 Openings) | Waterford, MI | 2026–2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a welcoming school district in Waterford, Michigan to hire two full-time School Psychologists for the 2026–2027 school year. These onsite opportunities offer the chance to work with supportive teams while making a meaningful impact on students across different age groups.
Position Details
Opening #1 – High School
Full-time (5 days per week)
Onsite
One high school campus
Student caseload of approximately 730
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success
Opening #2 – Elementary/Early Education
Full-time (5 days per week)
Onsite across three school buildings:
School A: 1 day per week
School B: 2 days per week
School C: 2 days per week
Smaller caseload
Primarily elementary and early education students
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide evaluations, consultation, and intervention support
Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments
Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports
Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
Provide recommendations and interventions to promote student success
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Active Michigan School Psychologist certification/licensure
Ability to pass required background screenings
Previous school-based experience preferred
