Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: - Adult critical care & ED experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous Charge Experience

Required Credentials: - For MD Locations – You must have compact license or MD license. - Will accept RRT or CRT.

Unit Details: - Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend Coverage: 4 weekend shifts per 6 weeks required

Special Requests: - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT (National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))
