1st Supplier Quality Administrator

Summary/objective The Supplier Quality Administrator is responsible for supporting supplier quality management activities to ensure purchased materials and services meet company standards and customer requirements. This role coordinates supplier documentation, monitors performance metrics, assists with corrective actions, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Essential functions Maintain and update supplier quality records, certifications, and compliance documentation Track supplier performance metrics (OTD, PPM, NCRs, corrective actions) Assist in managing supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and follow-up activities Review and process incoming inspection reports and nonconformance reports Support supplier audits and qualification processes Coordinate communication between suppliers, purchasing, engineering, and quality teams Ensure suppliers meet regulatory, ISO, and customer requirements Generate quality reports and dashboards for leadership review Support with approved supplier lists (ASL) and documentation control Support continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers Competencies Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21CFR 820 or similar) Experience with corrective action processes (8D, root cause analysis) Strong documentation and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Strong communication and follow-up skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability Supervisory responsibilities N/A Required education and experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred 2+ years experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, purchasing, or manufacturing environment preferred Preferred Education and experience Experience conducting or supporting supplier audits Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, and control plans ASQ certification (CQIA, CQA) a plus Physical demands & Travel required Light No travel required Pay Details: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
