About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Progressive Care/Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Two years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience - Ability to float within skill set or to nearby sites if necessary - Completion of RN Step Down specialty exam and skills assessment Description: Every other weekend and every other holiday commitment required. Travelers will be placed on a unit based on the greatest need, whether it's a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit, depending on skills. Acceptance of either a Med/Surg or Step Down RN is possible, as credentialing is the same for both skills. Travel experience is preferred. Familiarity with EPIC is required. Candidates must be prepared to float onsite within their skill set or to sites within a 40-mile radius if needed.
