It includes knowledge of local, distributed, and cloud-based technologies; data virtualization and smart caching; and all security and authentication mechanisms required to protect the data.Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources that are ready for analysis; Design and implement data solutions by defining functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications;Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics; Maintain data systems performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases;Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objectsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience may be accepted in place of the degree.3+ years building and maintaining data pipelines and processes in production.Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL.Experience supporting reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau or SSRS.Hands-on experience with data modeling and schema design.Desired SkillsProgramming experience in Python.Knowledge with version control (Git) and the software development lifecycleKnowledge with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) and its data services.Knowledge deploying and managing containerized data workloads on OpenShift.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
