This role offers a unique mix of fieldwork, technical problem-solving, and project coordination, with the opportunity to work across a variety of high-profile project sites.If you have a strong technical foundation and want to expand into commissioning and project delivery, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career.What You'll DoLead and execute commissioning activities including installation verification, functional testing, and system validationTravel regularly to multiple project sites, gaining exposure to diverse systems and projectsProduce clear, professional field reports, test documentation, and commissioning recordsReview design drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirementsParticipate in and lead commissioning meetings, driving progress and accountabilityPartner with construction teams to identify and resolve technical issuesSupport project planning, scheduling, and coordination, contributing to successful project deliveryBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholdersWhat You BringDegree in HVACR, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent hands-on trade/technical experience5+ years in construction, maintenance, or controls (or 1+ year in commissioning)Experience working with integrated building systems (HVAC, BAS, electrical distribution, fire alarm, etc.)Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and digital project/documentation toolsFull driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly between project sitesProven ability to solve problems independently and collaborate within a teamConfident communication skills, including reporting and presentingComfortable working in field environments (including lifting, climbing, and varying conditions)Nice to HaveBackground as a Refrigeration Technician or Controls TechnicianExperience or interest in project management and project deliveryIndustry certifications (EIT, CEM, OSHA 10, or similar)Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM)Compensation$90,000 – $120,000 (based on experience) Important: This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
