Financial Service Controller (3241)

Job Details Job Location: Orange, VA 22960 Qualifications Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related financial field, or two to four years related experience and/or training. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license preferred. Experience Two years of previous related experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience required. Must demonstrate knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Must demonstrate delivery of exceptional customer service Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Skills Ability to work independently – must be able to utilize strong time management and organizational skills to meet facility and regulatory deadlines. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and apply problem solving and critical thinking in performance of duties. Ability to perform complex mathematic calculations as required in preparing budgets and associated reports, etc. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reporting financial data. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with residents/patients, staff, family members, vendors, suppliers, and other contacts, both inside and outside the facility. Must exhibit patience and a positive attitude towards the elderly population and a desire to provide a service to the community. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
