Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol in Hagerstown, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol distribution and retail locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer-focused support in dynamic environments. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution, warehouse, retail, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and facility hazards. Monitor access points, receive visitors and deliveries, and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services. Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
