Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinical Specialist - Worcester/Springfield, MA

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist to provide technical, educational, and operational support for Cardiac Rhythm Management devices across the Worcester/Springfield, MA territory. The role involves device troubleshooting, clinical staff education, inventory management, and extensive customer site travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical support including device interrogations, implant assistance, and troubleshooting for CRM systems
• Manage operational logistics: patient documentation, equipment inventory, programmer software maintenance, and coverage scheduling
• Educate physicians, hospital staff, and field teams on CRM products, therapies, and patient management solutions
• Travel extensively within territory (approximately 80% of time) to support customer clinics and hospitals independently
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities, monitor competitive trends, and support purchase order activities

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 6 years healthcare/field sales experience, or associate's degree plus 4 years, or bachelor's degree plus 2 years
• Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and company-approved driving record
• Ability to lift 40 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8+ hours daily, and work in clinical environments with radiation exposure
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and complex medical device systems
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering preferred
• 2+ years experience in catheterization lab, electrophysiology lab, or hospital cardiology setting preferred
