Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine Tech

Job Summary (Nuclear Medicine/PET Tech - PIH Health Whittier):
- Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Conduct exams involving all vascular and organ systems.
- Maintain technical competency in nuclear medicine and computed tomography (CT).
- Administer radioisotopes and operate related imaging equipment.
- Apply knowledge of ALARA principles, radiation physics, biology, and protection measures.
- Accurately execute exposure techniques and patient care protocols.
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Transport patients as needed for imaging studies.
- Maintain current California DHS License (N) (R), ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification.
- Hold valid CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Utilize two years of experience in a hospital setting, including fusion imaging.
- Preference for ARRT (CT) certification and bilingual abilities (Spanish/Chinese).
