QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Current DOT Medical Certificate (or ability to obtain).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous delivery or commercial driving experience.

Basic knowledge of vehicle inspections and delivery documentation.

• Delivery & Transportation
• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products in compliance with all company, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct and document required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in alignment with company expectations.
• Load and unload products according to vehicle weight limits and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection records, and required documentation.
• Customer Service & Communication
• Deliver products professionally and courteously while representing the company in a positive manner.
• Communicate customer needs, questions, or concerns to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate, complete, and properly documented.
• Warehouse & Operational Support
• Assist with receiving, unloading, and staging inventory using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Safety & Compliance
• Adhere to all transportation, environmental, and workplace safety regulations.
• Report hazards, incidents, or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers and property.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and move quickly in a busy environment.

Requires frequent reaching, bending, and lifting of merchandise or supplies up to 25–50 pounds and occasional climbing of ladders.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

Routine exposure to agricultural chemicals (pesticides, fertilizers, fuels) in the retail environment, requiring adherence to specific training and the use of PPE.

Work may involve navigating unpredictable, uneven terrain outside the facility (e.g., in yard/storage areas). 

Exposure to retail, warehouse, outdoors and agricultural environments.
