Haul Truck Driver

Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver for the Whites Creek Quarry, located in Nashville, TN . The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Full-Time Day Shift Location: Whites Creek Quarry- Nashville, TN Wages starting at $23.00/hr Job Responsibilities Operate haul trucks to move shot rock from the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process. Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management. Effective communication skills applicable to position. Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency. Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed. Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document. Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required. Qualifications Dedication to safe work practices. Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred. Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed. Pass pre-employment drug screen.
