Be part of our mission to enhance care and enrich lives by fostering trust, understanding, and shared decision-making with every patient. Discover the essence of Caring. Connecting. Growing together.

Position Overview: Gastroenterologist

As a Gastroenterologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients needing specialized care. You will be an integral part of a team-oriented model, collaborating with primary care and specialty providers, as well as hospital partners and community specialists, to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse and expanding patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical assessments for patients with specialized conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including prescribing medications, exercises, and other treatments.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care, ensuring continuity through effective communication with external health and social agencies.
  • Act as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists, including general surgeons, urologists, orthopedic surgeons, and ENT specialists, while consulting on patient care issues.
  • Educate and counsel individuals and groups regarding specific healthcare needs, serving as a specialist in your field.
  • Contribute to the creation of health education programs.

You will be recognized and rewarded for your contributions in a challenging environment that provides clear guidance for success in your role, along with opportunities for professional development in other areas of interest.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
  • Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Current active Massachusetts DPH Controlled Substances Registration or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on specialty.
Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this specialty typically ranges from $386,500 to $757,500 . Total cash compensation includes base salary and bonuses, influenced by various factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience, with potential increases over time based on productivity and performance. We adhere to all applicable minimum wage laws. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401k contributions (subject to eligibility requirements). Regardless of when or where you start your career with us, you will find a wide array of benefits and incentives available.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:

Our mission is to empower individuals to lead healthier lives and enhance the healthcare system for everyone. We believe that every person, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, location, or income, deserves the chance to achieve their healthiest life. We recognize that significant barriers to good health still exist, disproportionately affecting people of color, historically marginalized groups, and those with lower incomes. We are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact and providing equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes, which is a core priority of our mission.

We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and will consider qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws.
