HIRING Costumed Character Entertainers For Childrens Birthday Parties and Events in and around Baltimore MD, Washington Dc and Northern Virginia. About us Character Visits is a business in Washington DC. We are customer service oriented and our goal is to provide fun, family friendly entertainment for kids parties and events. Our work environment includes Casual work attire Relaxed atmosphere Flexible working hours Duties Perform as a costume character, princess, and or a superhero at various events and locations, entertaining and interacting with guests Engage in public speaking and storytelling to captivate audiences Communicate effectively with guests of all ages, ensuring a positive and memorable experience Educate guests about the character and their story, providing information and answering questions Collaborate with other performers and staff to create a cohesive and immersive experience Follow performance guidelines and maintain the integrity of the character portrayal Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the well-being of both performers and guests Skills Strong public speaking abilities to engage and entertain audiences Excellent communication skills to interact with guests of all ages Experience working with children, creating a fun and engaging environment for them Background in theater or performing arts, demonstrating an understanding of character development and storytelling Proficiency in dance or movement, allowing for expressive performances We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who can follow direction and are passionate about bringing characters to life. If you have a love for performing, enjoy working with children and possess the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you. Join our team of talented character performers and help create magical experiences for our guests. Please note that this position requires your own vehicle, weekend availability and traveling to different event locations in and around DC, MD and Va.
