IT Administrator | Permanent | No Sponsorship Available ABOUT OUR CLIENT A well-established construction company with multiple offices and active project sites that relies on modern technology to support both office and field operations. BENEFITS & COMPENSATION * Compensation: $27 - $35 / hr. * PTO: Paid vacation package * Retirement: 401(k) plan * Medical: Full health benefits package * Other: Office-based role with regular travel to project sites and occasional after-hours support RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE IT ADMINISTRATOR * Manage networks, servers, cloud services, and telecommunications across all locations * Maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, mobile devices) and keep IT documentation current * Provide help desk support for office and field staff and set up equipment for new hires * Support construction management software and its integrations with accounting, scheduling, and project systems * Support field technology (GPS, tablets, mobile apps) and secure remote access * Own cybersecurity: policies, network and endpoint security, backups, disaster recovery, training, and incident response * Manage IT vendors, licensing, and purchasing, and ensure licensing and policy compliance PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE IT ADMINISTRATOR * Experience supporting construction, engineering, or industrial organizations preferred * Hands-on experience with: * Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune (or similar MDM) * Windows Server and Active Directory * VMware or Hyper-V * Networking (switches, firewalls, VPN) * Cloud backup and endpoint security * SQL databases (preferred) * Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, or Azure Administrator Associate * Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Timing is everything.
