Account Manager with Government Sales
Develop, manage, and grow strategic customer relationships across State & Federal agencies, Landscape & Construction channels, Nursery accounts, and Flexible Packaging customers.
Agriculture product manufacturer with locations in NC, PA, and TN.

Account Manager with Government Sales Details:
- Temporary position
- $ 24.00 to $ 30.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage & grow State and Federal Government, Landscape & Construction Distributor, Nursery, & Flexible Packaging accounts
- Build & maintain strong customer relationships to drive sales growth & retention
- Identify new business opportunities & expand existing accounts
- Prepare & respond to bids, contracts, and RFPs for government & commercial customers
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Conduct customer meetings, business reviews, & presentations
- Negotiate pricing & contract terms
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account plans, & CRM records
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business
- Marketing, Sales, Agriculture, Packaging, Construction Management, Public Admin, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education & experience may be considered
Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in account management, business development, sales, or related roles
- Experience working with government agencies, distributors, nursery operations, construction markets, or packaging customers preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong relationship-building & negotiation skills
- Knowledge of government procurement processes & contract management
- Understanding of landscape, construction, nursery, or packaging industries
- Microsoft Office
