Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a vibrant elementary school setting. This position involves providing essential SLP services at an onsite location to cover a 12-week maternity leave, working with approximately 50 students across PreK through 4th grade. The assignment is full time, spanning from early January to mid-March (dates may shift slightly), ensuring continuity and quality of care for every student on your caseload.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Hold a valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Possess ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Active Educator Certificate (required for school-based therapy roles)
• Previous experience as an SLP in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Confidence working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to students
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in alignment with school and district requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members to support student development and extend therapy beyond the classroom
• Contribute to IEP meetings and help develop individualized education plans
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
