Patient Care Technician - Float

Job Description

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, 3-12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays night shift. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.


We are looking for a Patient Care Technician to:

Provide direct patient care in a hands-on, fast-paced setting.

Communicate effectively with nurses and care teams to support patient needs.

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $3/ hr evening, $4/ hr night, and $3.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.


Other additional components of compensation may include:

Qualifications

• Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred

Work Experience

• Computer experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG. Required

• Bi-Annual CPR designation by recommended renewal date. Required
