Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (Full Time, Nights) Schedule: 3 12‑hour shifts. Must have 1+ year hospital experience. Practices to the fullest extent of employee license in accordance with organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Director, functions as a member of the Float Team to implement the patient’s plan of care. Provides population‑specific care and meets developmental needs of served populations. What You’ll Do Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation regarding medical necessity. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments. Compensation and Benefits Base compensation plus additional pay opportunities. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire. Handle With Care certification preferred.

1. 2 years bedside RN experience required.
2. 4 years critical‑care experience preferred.

Tier 1 Float to Nephrology/Oncology (NEON); 4N; Neuro Progressive Care Unit; Nursing Rehab; Telemetry; Progressive Stepdown Unit (IMCU); Surgical Unit. Tier 1 Certifications NEON – BLS required. 4N – BLS required. NPCU – BLS required, ACLS and NIH within 3 months of hire or transfer. Rehab – BLS required. Telemetry – BLS required, ACLS within 3 months of hire or transfer. IMCU – BLS required, ACLS and NIH within 3 months of hire or transfer. Surgical – BLS required. Tier 2 Float Meet all Tier1 criteria and be competent to float to two of the following specialty areas: Cardiovascular Unit (CVICU) Critical Care Unit (CCU) Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Emergency Department (ED) Labor/Delivery/Recovery (L&D) Tier 2 Certifications CVICU – BLS, ACLS, NIH, Handle With Care within 3 months of hire or transfer. CCU – BLS, ACLS, NIH, Handle With Care within 3 months of hire or transfer. NICU – BLS, ACLS, NIH, Handle With Care within 3 months of hire or transfer. ED – BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), NIH, Handle With Care within 3 months of hire or transfer. ASLS and TNCC preferred. LDRP – BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, Handle With Care within 3 months of hire or transfer. Nursery – BLS, NRP within 3 months of hire or transfer. Compensation for Tier2 $60.90 per hour. Minimum Work Experience At least two (2) years experience as a Registered Nurse required (unless previous LPN experience).
