Investment Banking Sr. Analyst

A leading independent investment bank is seeking a high-performing Senior Analyst to join its Media Investment Banking team. The group advises a broad range of clients across the media ecosystem—including digital media, content, advertising, marketing services, and information services—on mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions within a dynamic sector, with significant responsibility and direct exposure to senior bankers and clients. Key Responsibilities Play a central role in the execution of M&A transactions, including sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory mandates Develop and maintain complex financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses, merger models, and LBO analyses Lead the preparation of pitch materials, client presentations, and marketing documents (e.g., CIMs, management presentations) Conduct in-depth industry research and company analysis across the media landscape, including key subsectors and emerging trends Manage day-to-day project workflows, including coordinating diligence processes and liaising with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors Review and oversee work product of junior team members (Analysts), ensuring accuracy and quality Support business development efforts through idea generation, market analysis, and pitch execution Qualifications 2-3 years of investment banking experience, preferably within media, technology, or related sectors Strong financial modeling and valuation skillset, with experience building models from the ground up Deep understanding of M&A processes and transaction execution Excellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong communication skills, both written and verbal #J-18808-Ljbffr Selby Jennings
