Position Overview

The Design Professional II will contribute to the development of creative and technical project solutions while collaborating closely with senior designers, project architects, consultants, and clients. This role is ideal for a motivated architect with strong technical production skills and a passion for thoughtful design in the Senior Living sector.

The selected candidate will participate in design coordination, implementation documentation, presentations, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration across multiple project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and documentation of Senior Living architectural projects
• Prepare and modify construction and implementation documents
• Collaborate with project teams on technical detailing and design solutions
• Assist with client presentations and communicate project design intent
• Conduct material, product, and systems research
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal design teams
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and field reviews
• Help maintain project schedules and documentation quality standards
• Contribute to QA/QC processes and code research
• Mentor and collaborate with junior team members when appropriate

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field required
• 2–5+ years of professional experience in architecture
• Strong proficiency in Revit required
• Experience with visualization tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, or Twinmotion preferred
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Understanding of construction documentation and building systems
• Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Pursuit of architectural licensure preferred
