Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized patient care in an ICU setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage critically ill patients and utilize advanced medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments, including IV drips and ventilator support.
• Operate and troubleshoot ICU-specific equipment such as GE C-Arms, Volcano System, and IABP devices.
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with team members.
• Assist with procedures like left heart caths, coronary interventions, and pacemaker insertions.
• Adhere to protocols for complex cases including ARDS, sepsis, and post-cath recovery.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and meet state certification requirements.
• Possess at least 2 years of ICU experience, with skills in patient assessment and ventilator management.
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ICU equipment and critical care procedures.
• Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
