CNA Float Scheduler, Float Pool

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain schedules in staffing/scheduling program Report generation from staffing/scheduling program Prepares staffing information for shift and assigns staff where indicted with review by Manager or RN House Coordinator. Deploys fiscally responsible staffing Informs nursing units of staff being assigned to them Completes shift report sheets and daily scheduling sheets. Facilitates placement of orients to correct units/area of need Assist with education of staff Basic computer skills for data entry Proficiency with electronic patient documentation Professional phone Etiquette Floats to various units based on identified patient care needs. Transports patients within the facility as directed Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE Current CNA certification in state of practice Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the IL Health Care Workers Background Check.
