Position Title: Industrial Painter

Location: Arlington, TX

Department: Manufacturing / Production

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Painter to join our production team. This position is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal and manufactured components using industrial painting equipment and techniques. The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing environment and understands surface preparation, spray application, and quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, cleaning, masking, and priming materials
• Apply industrial coatings, primers, and finishes using spray guns and other painting equipment
• Mix paints and coatings according to specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality, consistency, and proper coverage
• Maintain paint equipment, spray booths, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Follow work orders, blueprints, and production schedules
• Adhere to all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards
• Assist with material handling and movement of parts as needed
• Identify defects or touch-up areas and perform corrective work when necessary

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an industrial painter, powder coater, automotive painter, or manufacturing painter preferred
• Knowledge of industrial painting equipment and spray techniques
• Ability to read tape measures, work instructions, and production documents
• Familiarity with surface preparation and coating applications
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing setting

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments
• Ability to wear respirators and required PPE

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with airless spray systems or powder coating
• Forklift or overhead crane experience a plus
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication background preferred
