1. Basic Job Information

• Job title: Marketing Coordinator
• Location: In-office  
• Employment type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Expected start date: Immediately 
• Reports to: COO & Founders 
• Salary range: Hourly $26-33 per hour, depending on experience

2. Company Overview

We are a fast-moving consumer products wholesale company managing multiple brands and product categories within the adult-alternative products space, with a primary focus on cannabis-related products. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our portfolio into the health and wellness category, developing consumer products for both convenience store retailers and direct-to-consumer e-commerce channels. We have a casual atmosphere and expect all output to be well thought out, polished and professional. 

3. Primary Purpose of the Role

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across multiple consumer brands, with particular emphasis on creative project management, e-mail marketing, digital asset organization, supporting the execution of marketing campaigns, and trade shows.

Creative Coordination / Designer Management - 40%

Klaviyo / E-mail Marketing - 25%

Google Drive / Asset Organization - 20%

Reporting / Miscellaneous Marketing - 15%

4. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Klaviyo campaigns and automated flows
• • Build and schedule promotional and lifecycle e-mails
  • Maintain marketing calendars
  • Coordinate e-mail copy, graphics, offers, links, and approvals
  • Collect campaign performance data
  • • Monitor e-mail metrics such as open rate, click rate, conversion rate, revenue, unsubscribe rate, etc.
• Coordinate projects with your in-house graphic designer
• • Create design briefs and assign creative projects
  • Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding projects
  • Review creative assets for accuracy before approval
  • Coordinate launches for new products / SKUs
• Maintain organized marketing folders within Google Drive
• • Maintain current product photography, logos, packaging art, sell sheets, advertisements, and brand assets
  • Help maintain brand guidelines
• Coordinate website updates with designers/developers
• Assist with social media content planning

6. Required Experience

• 2+ years of marketing experience 
• • Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Specialist, E-mail Marketing, or similar position
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo
• • Experience managing e-mail campaigns and automated flows
• Strong Google Workspace experience
• Excellent organizational / project-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple brands / projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written communication
• Ability to independently follow projects from assignment through completion

7. Preferred Experience

• CPG / consumer-brand experience
• DTC / e-commerce experience
• Shopify
• WooCommerce
• Canva
• Adobe Creative Suite familiarity
• Monday (Project Management) 
• Basic Google Analytics / GA4 knowledge
• Meta Business Suite
• SMS marketing experience
• Website CMS experience such as WordPress
• Experience working with designers
• Experience managing multiple brands
• Experience with product launches

9. Performance Expectations

Within 30 days: Understand brands, products, Klaviyo account, Drive structure, marketing calendar, and current workflow.

Within 75 days: Independently coordinate e-mail campaigns, manage designer assignments, maintain the marketing calendar, and keep assets organized.

Within 120 days: Own the day-to-day marketing coordination process with minimal supervision, produce regular reporting, proactively identify upcoming needs, and ensure campaigns/projects are completed on schedule.
