Pro Therapy Services is actively searching for a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Crystal Bay, Nevada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and assisting physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to help patients recover and regain independence.

Work Environment
The role will be performed onsite in a hospital environment situated in the beautiful and serene location of Crystal Bay, Nevada. This setting provides a collaborative atmosphere where you will work closely with a team of experienced physical therapists and other healthcare professionals. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs and ensure optimal clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the implementation of personalized treatment programs aimed at enhancing patients' strength, mobility, and overall functionality.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities that promote physical well-being and alleviate pain, ensuring they are performed correctly and safely.
- Educate patients about body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise regimens that support their recovery process and long-term health.
- Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the close supervision of your supervising therapist.
- Regularly monitor and document patient progress, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities.
- Prepare treatment areas prior to therapy sessions, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized and readily accessible.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Offer emotional support and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Maintain adherence to ethical standards and ensure patient confidentiality at all times, respecting their rights and privacy.

Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
- Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions relevant to physical therapy.
- Practical skills in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities, ensuring patient safety and compliance with treatment protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients and collaborate seamlessly with the healthcare team.
