Dermatologist Position Overview: As a Dermatologist at Vernon Health, you will provide expert clinical oversight and support for dermatology services in a rural health organization. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a modern medical office building clinic setting while helping advance Vernon Health's mission of delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and expanding dermatology services focused on meeting the skin health needs of patients and communities throughout Viroqua, Vernon County, and the Driftless Region.
Dermatologist Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including skin disorders, rashes, acne, eczema, psoriasis, lesions, and other skin health concerns.
• Perform dermatology evaluations, skin exams, biopsies, minor dermatologic procedures, and appropriate diagnostic testing to determine the best course of care.
• Provide dermatology consultation for patients as needed, including referrals and coordination with specialty services when appropriate.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, nursing services, and specialty care teams to support comprehensive dermatologic care.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with Vernon Health standards.

Dermatologist Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology.

• Valid Wisconsin medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
