Description

RN - OR Circulator

Assists surgeons and anesthesiologist and coordinates flow of equipment, supplies and staff during a surgical procedure. Assures patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care. Participates in patient care planning, assessment and nursing treatment. This position is represented by CNA.

Requirements

Day/Evening, 5 x 8s, M - F 0600 to 2030. Schedule and start times rotate. ACLS, BLS, PALS required. Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma experience required. 1 plus years of experience. Call is at least 1 night per week and 1 weekend per schedule. Potentially more based on need.

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent: Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
• One year previous full time experience in the operating room: Required

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current RN license in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred
• Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
