Description

American Traveler is seeking a Chemo Certified Oncology Infusion RN for a travel contract at a Magnet, teaching hospital requiring at least 2 years of oncology experience and active ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification.

Details

• Oncology Infusion unit within a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma teaching hospital with 672 staffed beds
• Position requires floating between three affiliate hospital campuses to meet facility needs
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 8:00–16:30
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling can be accommodated
• Charting is done in Epic/Excellian; experience is required

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required; pending license accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Active chemotherapy certification through ONS or ONCC required
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Epic/Excellian EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
• All certifications must be current and on file for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides oncology infusion nursing care across multiple affiliated hospital campuses
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start date
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months since their last shift
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
