Primary Care Family Medicine Academic Opportunity – Kingston, NY

Affiliated with Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, New York, Nuvance Health Medical Practice is seeking a board‑certified Family Medicine Physician to work with family medicine residents in our growing outpatient practice. This role is 0.5 FTE part‑time and requires 20 hours per week. The physician will work with the Program Director to develop and implement continuing medical education and will supervise, mentor, and evaluate residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Family Medicine residents
• Collaborate with Program Director to develop and implement CME
• Provide outpatient care and support hospitalist program for inpatient admissions as needed
• Maintain a balanced clinical schedule with minimal on‑call obligations

Job Requirements

• MD or DO with New York State license and Federal DEA registration
• Board certified in Family Medicine and completed residency training in the field
• Availability for shared off‑hour coverage (phone only) with nurse triage
