About the Role

The Senior Demand Generation Specialist drives buyer-focused digital demand generation and performance marketing strategies that attract, engage, and convert qualified bidders for commercial real estate assets. This role leads integrated digital campaigns, email and CRM programs, audience segmentation, and funnel optimization while partnering closely with CoStar’s centralized SEM team and other cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, hands-on digital marketer who can manage multiple time-sensitive priorities, translate performance insights into action, and continuously improve the buyer journey from initial awareness through registration, qualification, and bid activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated digital campaigns and audience growth strategies that increase qualified bidder volume

• Lead email marketing and CRM programs, including bidder nurture, re-engagement, and lifecycle communications

• Partner with CoStar’s centralized SEM team to inform paid search strategy, support campaign execution, and identify ongoing optimization opportunities

• Monitor asset-level marketing performance, identify gaps, and prioritize additional digital support for underperforming or time-sensitive assets

• Optimize the end-to-end buyer funnel, from traffic and account creation through vault visits, registration, bidder qualification, and bid activity

• Analyze campaign and funnel performance, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and communicate clear insights to key stakeholders

• Use AI tools in your own workflow — for campaign optimization, content production, and performance analysis — to increase the speed and quality of demand generation output and share effective practices with the team

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, from an accredited, not-for-profit, in person, University or College

• 5+ years of experience in digital or performance marketing, ideally in a marketplace, e-commerce, or lead-generation environment

• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot, or similar)

• Experience managing or collaborating with SEM/paid search vendors or specialists

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret campaign and funnel data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into action.

• Practical AI fluency in your own working process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial real estate, auctions, online marketplaces, or another transaction-driven environment

• Experience triaging or prioritizing marketing support across a high volume of concurrent, time-bound listings or offers

• Familiarity with marketing automation and lead-scoring tools

The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.

Base Compensation: $99,000 - $128,000
