This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise API tooling, automated testing frameworks, and developer platform experiences. Operating across the full stack, you will write production-grade code for frontend interfaces, backend microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure to help internal engineering teams manage APIs securely and at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Engineering: Design and develop full-stack features for internal API products, including UI components, backend services, and cloud environments.Framework Automation: Build and sustain automated API testing frameworks, collection management services, and developer self-service workflows.Standards & Testing: Write clean, documented, and testable code adhering strictly to corporate standards and CI/CD automated testing matrices.API Governance: Contribute to the enterprise API Catalog features, including onboarding flows, metadata management, and consumer/producer experiences.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with security, identity, and infrastructure teams to ensure tools meet compliance thresholds, and participate in Agile ceremonies.Benefits and Perks to Help You Keep ClimbingOur culture is rooted in a shared dedication to living our values – Care, Integrity, Resilience and Servant Leadership – every day, in everything we do. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)Backend & Systems: Experience with Node.js backend development and serverless or containerized architectures (Docker, OpenShift, ECS).API Standards: Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications, API design patterns, and enterprise governance protocols.Security & Modern Tools: Knowledge of authentication patterns (OAuth, OIDC) and exposure to AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Kiro).Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.Ownership: Demonstrates clear accountability for technical deliverables and team culture.Agility: Continuously learns, adapts to new technologies, and values constructive feedback.Curiosity: Driven to understand and optimize the developer experience for thousands of internal users< Go back
