Foxdale Village includes 57 apartments and 148 cottages and offers a range of health services with 46 beds in skilled nursing for short and long-term care, two memory care neighborhoods, and 55 beds in personal care, all with private accommodations.We are seeking a Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join our dedicated Dining Department.We are currently hiring for:Full-Time position and expected work 40 hours per week (12PM-830PM) and every other weekend/holiday.Part-Time position and expected work 20 hours per week (4PM-830PM) and every other weekend/holiday.The position of Dishwasher/Utility Worker is responsible to perform the essential job duties of:Scrapes/rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, equipment, and work area.Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. Let dry completely before storing or reusing.Operates the dish machine, including cleaning, de-liming and properly maintaining.Ensure compliance with all outlined safety procedures, up to and including use of cut gloves when handling and cleaning knives.Maintain and track temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Let supervisor know in a timely manner if levels are off.Clean and maintain dish area in an orderly manner to include mats, clear walkway and in compliance with all other safety standards.Sweeps and mops kitchen floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surface as assigned.Segregates and removes trash and boxes and compostable items and places it in designated containers.
